Carrying the NA message of Recovery from the North East of England !

Our Primary Purpose:

"NA is a non-profit fellowship, or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem.  We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. " *

Narcotics Anonymous is an international, community based association of recovering drug addicts with more than 33,500 weekly meetings in over 116 countries worldwide.

The North East England Area of Narcotics Anonymous forms part of the UK Region and services the counties of South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, The East Riding of Yorkshire, Northumberland, County Durham and Tyne and Wear.

The NE England Area Service Committee together with various subcommittees support local NA Groups and serves as a communication channel to the NA Fellowship as a whole so that NA may better fulfill it's primary purpose - to carry the NA message of recovery to the still suffering addict.

Information about the development of Narcotics Anonymous, the NA Programme, how NA's services are organised, NA's position on addiction related issues and NA's relationships with other organisations can found on the Public Information page.
